My name is Liz and I am risk for HD. My mother hasn't offically been diagosed but doctors confirmed it. It's been a tough life with a parent whom has HD. My mother is 45 yrs old is just moved her into a nursing home. Everytime i go and see her.. I see her worse. it gets worse everytime. I hate this. My sister is 16 yrs old and has no mother or father. I feel for her. My mother hasnt been the greatest mother but now that she takes her meds.. she seems to love us and need us like never before. Its weird for my sister and I since mom has never been like that. My biggest fear is to be HD positve. I'm married with a little girl. My husband is so supportive. I dont want my daugther to go what I have gone through. |
